Lively, engaging, and authentic, Round the House offers a wide variety of entertainment options for your event. We can provide lovely instrumental background music, we can play a mix of songs and tunes for the cocktail hour, or we can provide interactive dancing combined with entertainment for receptions and parties. We are happy to MC events if you need us to.
Dance option:
Many event planners wish to encourage guest or audience participation. Round the House offers a selection of fun and simple dances that everyone can join in on with no prior dance experience. Claire can teach simple dances based on American country dances, contra dances, and Irish ceili dances. She is experienced in working with children as well as adults and has a repertoire that non-dancers will thoroughly enjoy.
We have played for numerous, diverse types of events and may be able to offer some options that you haven’t considered. We often play for wedding services and can provide a selection of wedding songs and tunes that are appropriate for processionals.
